The Payne Family The Paynes have been traveling for over 30 years. In fact in 2000 we celebrated our 30 year Anniversary. The Video "30 Anniversary of the Paynes" was nominated in the top 5 for a Dove Award for Long form Video last year. Also in the category was Third Day, Gaither, and others. We didn't win but it was an honor. The Paynes have had several top 10 songs and number 1 songs in Southern Gospel including, "Angels Step Back", "I'm a Jesus Fan", "Out of this World", "Just in case of Rapture". Mike Payne along with R. Hinson wrote the song "When He was on the Cross (I was on His Mind) which was song of the year in 1985 and 1986. Mike and Loreen's Daughter Sandra, is a wonderful singer with a 5 Octave voice who has made 2 solo projects along with the projects she has done with the her family. She has been seen on the Alvin Slaughter show, TBN, Inspirational Network, CBN and other shows. She is currently in Nashville doing demos, and singing all over the Country.

Calvary We are currently, 2003, performing in the Cincinnati/Dayton, OH region. We do not charge, we sing only to please God and to bring His word to you through the music. If a love offering is offered, the group will accept it. We use all money for equipment upkeep and new equipment if needed. Also, we are currently setting up time to go to the studio to work on our very first CD project.
