I specialize in the broad genre of rock, from singer/song writers to hard core. I’ve had the privilege of working on projects with: Michelle Branch, Our Lady Peace, Chantal Kreviazuk, King’s X, Galactic Cowboys, Atomic Opera, Precious Death, Rez Band, 20/20 Blind, Joydrop, Pushmonkey, Atlantic, Geffen, Sparrow, Metro One, Columbia, Tommy Boy, Arista, DGC, BMG, Metal Blade, 20th Century Fox, EMI, Intersound, Mike Clink, Josh Abraham, Andy Wallace, Arnold Lanni, Josh Freese, Doug Pinnick, Raine Maida and Ty Tabor. First, through pre-production, I can assist the artist in shaping their vision into great songs. From selecting the strongest music to tweaking parts, pre-production is a powerful process. Next is my delivery of a skull-crushing sonic experience that truly represents the artist. Whether it’s pure analog tube goodness, all digital Pro Tools precision or a hybrid of the two; I will utilize the technology that the music demands. I can be as involved in the creative process as you would like; from a “hands off” approach of sonically producing to a “hands on” approach of arranging & re-writes. I will deliver the end result that many promise but few achieve: a great record! I look forward to working with you.

Oil Oil is a Christian hard core guitar oriented band with a fresh sound. Oil features former Dark Angel singer Ron Rinehart and former Deceiver/Captain Black guitarist Blake Nelson. Oil's sound is a cross between a Freight Train and Frank Sinatra on steroids. Very heavy, in your face lyrics and not recommended for wimps.
